About New England

At times, travelers can find adventure right at your doorstep; this is especially true in the case of New England. Located in the northeastern part of the United States, this unique region is known for its colonial past, Atlantic coastline, stunning beaches, and stunning autumn foliage. New England yacht charters open the door to admire and explore what the waters have to offer. Internationally recognized as one of the best sailing locations globally, New England has over 400 miles of coastline that is steeped in rich maritime heritage that you can discover with sailboat charters in New England.

Newport is America’s yachting capital and is a perfect place for shopping, scenery, and good food. Maritime trade built this colonial town, and most of its 18th-century architectural features can still be seen today, giving this small town its unique edge. Thirty miles off the coast of Cape Cod is the isolated island of Nantucket known for whales, breweries, lighthouses, and fishing. Just west of Nantucket is Martha’s Vineyard, another island, which is curiously not famous for wine. Hop around from island to island with private yacht charters in New England. Instead, it is a popular vacation destination for people wanting to explore its beaches and lush green forests. Maine has over 5,000 miles of coastline and is famous for one particular type of crustacean, the Maine lobster. Although famous for seafood, it is also the home of various harbors and bays waiting to be explored, including Boothbay and Bar Harbour, which offer great shops, fun cafes, and gorgeous scenery to travel with our New England boat charters.
