With one foot in the Caribbean sea and the other in the Central American jungle, the country of Belize may be small, but it packs quite the punch. Known as British Honduras from 1862 to 1973, Belize borders Mexico to the north and Guatemala to the west and south. Although the country is about the size of Massachusetts, there is plenty to do. Our Belize yacht charters allow you to explore waters and admire the beauty.

Belize is known for its gorgeous beaches, barrier reefs, biodiverse jungle, and Mayan ruins. Belize boat charters provide a means to discover the true magnificence of the area. It is believed that the country was once the center of the Mayan civilization, which resulted in the construction of hundreds of palaces, temples, monuments, and pyramids, many of which visitors can see today. Belize has over 900 Mayan ruins for visitors to explore. Although they are only shells of their former beauty, there is nothing quite like walking through the ruins of an ancient city that dates back 1,000 years. Along with lush jungle biodiversity and Mayan ruins, Belize also is home to stunning beaches and over 400 islands, most of which are unpopulated. One of the most popular attractions is the Great Blue Hole, a sinkhole near the center of a reef, the perfect attraction for snorkelers and scuba divers. Take advantage of the benefits our private yacht charters in Belize can offer.

Belize has it all, adventures, beaches, sapphire blue waters, and unexplored islands that beckon every type of traveler to come and visit all that it has to offer. Check out our Belize catamaran charters today.

With over 400 islands to visit and the second largest barrier reef to explore, chartering a yacht in Belize is an excellent option if you want to spend some time exploring everything that this country has to offer. Chartering a yacht in Belize not only means that you get to experience one of the world's most pristine barrier reefs, but you also have the chance to visit three out of the four atolls in the Western Hemisphere. The atolls of Belize, a ring-shaped island formed of coral that surrounds a lagoon, are some of the most beautiful in the world and have been named Natural Monuments and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Many of these atolls are remote and therefore hard to get to unless you have your own boat.

Yachts are available in Belize City or Placencia. If you're looking to bareboat a charter in Belize, this is considered an advanced sailing destination because they have so much reef to navigate around. Please note that you can only sail out to the 'Blue Hole" with a local captain.
